![]() ![]() Building worthwhile farms that produce tons of items is not. Item frames and the like are easy to avoid. ![]() Other entities will do it too, but obviously it's easier to mass produce items in farms which is where alot of the "lag" comes from when playing with texture packs like this. I wish it had an option to not apply bdcraft textures to floating item entities as they aren't really neccessary and seem to be the majority of the cause of entity frame drops. 1 Guardian farm or really anything complex or worthwhile and it's back to default textures or single digit frames. The only solution is lowering the res to 128 or 64x which helps but will still get overloaded with too many entities, and limiting the amount of entities that are allowed in a loaded area, which basically makes it not worth playing at all. Unfortunately it's also the best looking and I can't really play on any other texture pack since I've gotten so used to it. BDCraft historically has blamed Mojang saying it's a problem with all texture packs, but I've tested every high res pack available and BDCraft is the worst performance wise by far. Simply the number of entities being rendered will drop frames heavily. It seems to be the items in the item frames that causes lowered framerates. After removing the items from the item frames the framerate rose back to playable levels (50-68fps). When going near my storage room with item frames the framerate drops to 2 fps. Taken off realm and ran locally, still performance issues.I have deleted and reinstalled the texture pack to Realm and PC several times.If I remove the texture pack zero performance issues.I've had several instances after being in the nether for an extended period of time performance drops to the point where the game is unplayable. Also seeing frame rate drops where lots of items are on the ground such as if kelp has been broken and floating in the water. There are several graphics settings within Minecraft itself you can change to optimize performance. The only way I can get into my base is by looking at the floor. When looking in that direction of my base framerate drops so bad I can barely move. I have a storage room setup with item frames to label the boxes with an enchanting area next to it. I use the PureBDCraft w/ PureBDCraft HD UI on Minecraft Realms. I was previously playing on Xbox Series X with zero issue. I recently purchased Bedrock version of Minecraft for my new PC. I would like to expand on this post due to experiencing similar issues. ![]()
